Over  the past 23 years, the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and the Government of Uganda have been waging a war that has left nearly two million innocent civilians caught in the middle. Many of these innocents are children. They are abducted in the night and forced to become soldiers in an army they never wanted to be in and in a war that is not their own- this is their story. What were you doing when you were 6 years old? 9? 12? They deserve to know peace and we want to help them find it… join the rescue and be a part of the solution.

On April 18th “The Rescue”, a film discussing child soldiers and what we can do to help, will be played.  The film will show at the Gum Tree Art Museum. Following there will be an event at Cafe 212 (directly across the street) with live music, discussion, and information on how you can help. You can also go to www.invisiblechildren.com to find out more about the cause that we are wanting to help!  Please help us by emailing/telling as many people as you can about the film showing.  We would greatly appreciate you helping us get the word out!!
